Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): A 23-year-old woman was allegedly raped by her brother-in-law in Madhya Pradesh's Gwalior. The accused threatened to kill her children if she disclosed the incident to anyone.
The victim's husband works in Ahmedabad and is frequently away. The accused brother-in-law took advantage of her husband's absence and sexually exploited her multiple times.
The incident happened at Gola Ka Mandir police station area in Gwalior. An FIR has been registered against the accused on the woman's complaint.

According to the woman's complaint, the accused continued to sexually assault her for 3 months, when one day she finally mustered courage and narrated her ordeal to her mother-in-law. Her mother-in-law, instead of helping her, called her a liar and threw out of the house.
The victim was married in 2022 and she is a mother of two. She had been living in Gwalior with her mother-in-law and brother-in-law. She returned to her maternal home after being evicted and waited for her husband’s return from Ahmedabad. Upon his arrival, she gathered the courage to lodge a complaint.
The woman approached Gola Ka Mandir Police Station on Friday night and registered an FIR against the accused. The police have booked the brother-in-law under charges of rape, criminal intimidation, and other relevant sections. An investigation is underway.
