Shivpuri (Madhya Pradesh): Tragic strikes Madhya Pradesh's Shivpuri as two children died and their parents became critically-ill after inhaling suspected poisonous gas from pesticide-treated wheat stored in their home.
According to the information, the incident unfolded in Malbarve village of Pohri police station area of the district. The deceased identified as Adhik Dhakad (3) and Manvi Dhakad (5), both children of Girraj Dhakad.
The whole family was reportedly sleeping in the same room where a pesticide treated wheat was stored since last 3 days. As per preliminary investigations, the family's health started deteriorating on Sunday night.
The younger child Adhik, died while being rushed to the district hospital, Meanwhile the elder daughter, Manvi passed away in the village. The parents, has been referred to the district hospital in critical condition.

Bhatanwar Chowki in-charge Seema Dhakad said, "At first glance, the case appears to be of poisonous gas made from medicine kept in wheat. Post-mortem of the children's bodies is being done. The exact cause of death will be confirmed only after the post-mortem report comes." At present, the police is investigating the case.
