Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that there is no shortage of funds with the government and MLAs should chalk out schemes for their respective constituencies, which the government will help to implement.
He urged party MLAs to maintain a record of their work and present it before the people. The Chief Minister was addressing the BJP legislative party meet here on Tuesday night.
He said that the government is running various schemes to boost industrialisation and that investors are ready to invest in the state. Party MLAs should familiarise investors with the state’s investor-friendly schemes and help them avail their benefits, he added.
State BJP President Hemant Khandelwal addressing the legislators said that they have dual responsibility- addressing the issues of their constituencies and taking government schemes to the people.
He urged MLAs to live up to the people’s expectations and warned against any leniency in serving the public. He said that elected representatives should maintain direct communication with the public.
BJP national co-organisation general secretary Shivprakash said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is taking decisions in the interest of the people. He called for strengthening booths and said that, along with all-round development, MLAs must work for environment conservation.
