Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A delegation of Congress led by Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar called on Additional Director General of Police (Intelligence) on Wednesday and submitted a memorandum demanding fair probe into FIR registered against two brothers of state Congress Committee president Jitu Patwari.
In the FIR, registered at Tejaji police station in Indore, PCC chief brothers- Nana Patwari and Bharat Patwari- along with Indore district Congress president Sadashiv Yadav have been accused with illegal possession of land and intimidation.
Demanding a fair probe, the delegation claimed that the names of Patwari's brothers were erroneously mentioned in the FIR. Patwari brothers and Yadav have been are accused of illegally taking possession of 6 acres of land near Tejaji Nagar bypass.

Later briefing the reporters Singhar said, "After personal animosity, a politics of enmity is going on in the state. The way a false case was registered against the brothers of our state president Jitu Patwari, I believe it should be properly investigated, I think that it is a false case in which the two brothers of Patwari have been implicated. The Congress party opposes this move."
In the memorandum, the Congress claimed that the said land which is allegedly encroached has a signboard with ‘Akhil Bhartiya Yadav Samaj Public Trust’ written on it. This trust comprises six members- four belonging to BJP, RSS leaders and two are Congress leaders, the memorandum read.
