The incident took place in Bugli Wali village under Doraha police station in Madhya Pradesh's Sehore district.

The victims are said to be residents of Raisen district. Villagers reportedly caught them on the basis of suspicion and decided to punish them on their own, without involving the police.

The mob not only assaulted the youths but also publicly humiliated them by cutting their hair and dressing them in women’s clothing.

What makes the incident even more disturbing is that some villagers proudly recorded the entire episode and shared it on platforms like Facebook and WhatsApp, showing no fear of the law.

So far, the exact reason behind the attack remains unclear. No police complaint has been filed by the victims or their families.

Doraha police station in-charge Rajesh Sinha confirmed that the video has reached the police. He said an investigation has started on their own initiative, and an FIR will be filed after the probe.
