Chhatarpur (Madhya Pardesh): A bizarre incident came to light in Madhya Pradesh's Chhatarpur where a primary school teacher was seen dozing off mid-class with students sitting unattended.
A video of the incident has surfaced on internet on Wednesday, raising serious concerns about state's rural education
In the video, it is visible how the teacher zonked out in between a running class, and the students in the class sat idle, waiting for their teacher to wake-up!

The teacher, sleeping in a class of 6 students, can be seen reclining on the chair with his eyes closed, seemingly unbothered about his ongoing class session. The 6 students sitting in the class can be seen clueless.
The incident reflects on the conditions of government school in state. Many people have expressed concern over such careless behavior from teachers, especially when children’s education is at stake.

This is not the first time such an incident came to light from Chhatarpur. Earlier, on August 1, a video of a teacher identified as Arvind Singh surfaced where he was found sleeping in the class with his head resting on students' school bags. Students can be seen in the class.
