Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): District and sessions court, Bhopal, on Thursday has stayed the demolition of IAS Manjusha Rai’s (deputy secretary in the education department in Bhopal) house.

Kolar SDM Aditya Jain has been removed in this connection. The court has given a stay till August 13 in the dispute over her house in Danishkunj. Till the next hearing, the other party will not be able to cause any damage to the existing house.

The matter came to light on August 2. The dispute is related to the agreement, transfer and registry of the duplex house built on a total of 1864 square feet of land. IAS Rai had alleged that goons reached her house and started vandalising it with a JCB.

The police and local administrative officials also did not intervene in the matter. A petition was filed in this regard in the district court on behalf of IAS Rai's husband Vikrant Rai.

This was said in the stay

The defendant will not damage the house or destroy the property through himself or others

Will not make any agreement, sale, mortgage or transfer till August 13
