Bhind (Madhya Pradesh): A 25-year-old woman lost her life after consuming toilet cleaner on Sunday in Bhind.
The girl was from Subhash Nagar, who consumed toilet cleaner late on Sunday night.
The woman, identified as Julie Kushwaha, was rushed to the district hospital by her family when her health began to deteriorate.
After receiving initial treatment, she was referred to Gwalior for further care, but she passed away on the way.
Julie, originally from Bamour in Morena, had married Rocky Kushwaha of Subhash Nagar on July 11, 2024. She had been living with her in-laws at the time of the incident.
The tragic event occurred around 12:15 AM when Julie drank toilet cleaner in the washroom. She then returned to her room and lay down, prompting concern from her family.

Her family acted swiftly, taking her to the district hospital, where doctors referred her to Gwalior due to her critical condition. However, she could not survive the journey. Her body was later brought back to Bhind, where a post-mortem was conducted on Monday morning, and her remains were handed over to her family.
Julie’s brother, Neeraj Kushwaha, revealed that he had spoken to her at 8 PM on Sunday, and she had not mentioned any issues.
The call about her worsening condition came at 12:30 AM from her brother-in-law.
The authorities have launched an investigation to determine the actual cause behind the incident.
