Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian on Saturday warned that there would be a “more severe and powerful response” if Israel continued to strike Iran. “The continuation of Zionist aggression will be met with a more severe and powerful response from the Iranian armed forces,” Mr. Pezeshkian said.

Sixth round of talks scheduled for Sunday in Muscat between Iran and the United States over Tehran's rapidly advancing nuclear program "will not now take place" after Israel's strikes targeting the Islamic Republic, Oman's foreign minister, Badr al-Busaid, said on Saturday.
"The Iran US talks scheduled to be held in Muscat this Sunday will not now take place. But diplomacy and dialogue remain the only pathway to lasting peace," he said on X. Oman has been mediating the talks between the two countries.
