Separated From Mother, Baby Elephant Rushes To Humans For Help, Here's How Forest Officials Reunited Them- Watch Video

In a touching video going viral on the Internet now, a baby elephant was seen reunited with its mother by forest officials at Kaziranga National Park in Assam. The video was shared by retired Indian Forest Service officer Susanta Nanda on X formerly known as Twitter. The video shows an innocent baby elephant separated from its herd and mother rushing towards forest officers. Later it was reunited with its mother using requisite forest tricks.

The video shows how even baby animals can go frenzy after getting separated by their mother as the baby elephant, all confused and scared can be seen rushing towards forest officers's vehicle nearby. It starts circling and panicking around them. Further, the forest team carefully guides the little elephant toward the area where its mother had last been seen.

Reunion In The Most Natural Way

After spotting its mother, the forest officers then goes on to apply the dung of mother on baby elephant's trunk to suppress human smell and to ensure the mother recognised her calf and accepted it. The baby elephant doesn't forget his unique goodbye to its saviour and gives the officer a final soft trumpet as thanksgiving.

Later, in the video theh calf can be seen walking besides its mother elephant while the officer echoes in the background, "Haan, jaa. Jaa, jaa, jaa (Go ahead)." The video was shared on X by Susanta Nanda, he wrote, "Chotu got separated from mother at Kaziranga. It was united later with its mother. The forest officials applied mother’s dung to the calf to suppress human smell. Happy reunion at the end."

UP Kids Released Giant Python, Carrying It In their Hands

In a shocking incident from Jahangirabad area of Bulandshahr, villagers and kids caught a giant 15-foot-long, python with their bare hands. The real adventure was seen later when the kids carried the python in their hands for about 3 KM on the Bulandshahr-Anupshahr road. No report was registered to forest department or any officials. Later, the python was released in the jungle.
