'18 Slaps In 25 Seconds': School Principal Slaps Math Teacher In Gujarat's Bharuch; CCTV Video Goes Viral

A video of a fight between school principal and a math and science teacher in Gujarat is doing the rounds on social media. The footage records the principal of a school in Bharuch repeatedly beating the faculty, triggering an investigation by education officials. It showed him slapping the teacher 18 times in 25 seconds while reacting to complaints over his lectures.

The incident was reported from Navyug school in the Bharuch district of Gujarat. A CCTV camera installed above the principal's desk recorded the entire scene and showed how the head charged violence upon one of his school teachers.

The principal, identified as Hitendra Thakor, attacked math and science teacher Rajendra Parmer reportedly regarding the latter's way of handling his lessons.

The video opened by showing Parmer seated in the staff room along with a few other teachers. Seconds into the clip, Thakor stood up from his seat, approached Parmer and started hitting him. The principal dragged him on the floor by pulling one of his legs and then slapped him continuously.

Other teachers on the premises intervened to settle the altercation.

The video concluded showing Thakor going back to his seat after abusing the teacher.

According to a report in India Today, Parmer has been accused of verbal abuse in the classroom. The District Education Officer looked into the matter and took necessary action. An investigation is underway.
