Thane Crime News: Dance Teacher Arrested For Allegedly Assaulting 3-Year-Old Boy At Ulhasnagar Summer Camp

Thane: The Vithalwadi police arrested a 45-year-old dance teacher for allegedly sexually assaulting a three-year-old boy at a summer camp in Ulhasnagar. The accused, identified as Jitendra Dulani, reportedly assaulted the child during dance classes on May 15 and 20.
Police stated that the teacher took the boy into a separate room, removed his clothes, and inappropriately touched him. Later, the child complained of physical discomfort and narrated the incident to his parents. Shocked by the revelation, the family immediately alerted authorities and filed an FIR on May 21.
A police officer said, "The accused organized a two-day summer camp, attended by twenty children. The victim attended classes from 6 PM to 9 PM."

An FIR has been registered under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
The accused was arrested on May 21 and remanded to police custody after being produced in court.
DCP Sachin Gore (Ulhasnagar) stated, "We acted swiftly after the parents' complaint. Witness statements, including that of the victim’s elder brother—who saw the accused take the child into a room—are being recorded. The investigation is ongoing."
