Mumbai News: Fire Breaks Out At Sumita Complex In Andheri, No Injuries Reported
A fire broke out in a ground-plus-one structure on Kurla-Andheri Road early Wednesday morning. Officials from the Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB) managed to extinguish the fire in three and a half hours. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Mumbai: A fire broke out in a ground-plus-one structure on Kurla-Andheri Road early Wednesday morning. Officials from the Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB) managed to extinguish the fire in three and a half hours. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
About The Incident
The incident occurred around 3 a.m. on the first floor of the Sumita Complex in Shanti Nagar, Andheri East. MFB officials, along with local police and the civic ward office, rushed to the scene to conduct fire-fighting operations.

According to fire official, the fire was confined to a 600β700 sq. ft. area on the first floor and involved electric wiring, electrical installations, decorative materials, various types of plastics, office records, and furniture. The fire was classified as a Level 1 minor fire at 3:23 a.m. and was fully extinguished by 6:30 a.m.
βThe fire was controlled without any casualties,β confirmed a fire official. The exact cause of the fire will be determined after a detailed investigation.
