Alot (Madhya Pradesh): A disturbing incident occured in Madhya Pradesh's Alot where 5 cows died while 2 cows are in critical condition after consuming leftover flour from the inauguration of Sanjivani Hospital on Tuesday.
As per reports, the incident happened when the cow roaming near the hospital ingested the stale wheat flour discarded after the event.
Cows are receiving treatment
The owner of the cows said that the leftover wheat flour was thrown near the hospital premises. The 2 cows are currently receiving treatment from a veterinary doctor.
Municipal council inspector Rampal confirmed that two of the deceased cows have been buried at the training ground in Dussehra Maidan with assistance from the municipal council's JCB.

Investigation will be conducted
In response to the incident, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Toofan Singh Yadav announced that an investigation will be conducted and a post-mortem of the deceased cows may be performed if necessary.
Local residents are outraged by the incident. They demanded strict action against those responsible and urged the authorities to implement concrete measures for cow protection in the town.
