Family Waiting For Tyre Repair On Indore-Khargone Bypass Looted Of Gold & Cash Worth ₹20 Lakh
The family was returning to Indore when miscreants attempted loot at late night.

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A group of robbers attacked a family travelling from Khargone to Indore late night on the Gujri Bypass. The accused looted gold and cash worth Rs 20 lakh.
The victims have been identified as Ballabh Mahajan, brother Sachin Mahajan. Their mother and Sachin's wife were also in the car.
The incident occurred around 11:30 pm when Ballabh Mahajan, along with his brother Sachin Mahajan, and family was en route to Indore by car.

According to the reports, the vehicle’s tyre got punctured near the Gujri bypass. The family was waiting on the roadside for tyre replacement, when a group of three to four miscreants attacked them. The robbers snatched gold jewellery worn by Sachin’s wife and mother. Police sources said that nearly 20 tola of gold jewellery and cash were looted.

Dhamnod’s sub divisional officer confirmed the incident and said that the police were alerted immediately after robbery. Teams were dispatched to the spot and search operation was initiated in the surrounding areas. Two teams have been formed to catch the accused and recover looted items and valuables.
The robbery has sparked concerns over highway safety during night travel.
