Rajasthan Staff Selection Board To Investigate Fake Divorce Claims In Recruitment
There is a separate quota of 2% for divorced women in all the jobs of the Rajasthan government. It's cutoff remains much lower than the other categories. Now there are complaints regarding misuse of this quota by taking divorce just in papers.

Jaipur: After fake disability certificates, now there are complaints of forged divorce to secure government jobs under the 'divorcee' quota in Rajasthan. The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has received around 12 such complaints regarding this, actiong upon which, the recruitment agency has decided to start a probe.
"We have received 12 complaints regarding forged divorce to secure government jobs under the divorcee quota. The RSSB, with the help of the Special Operations Group of police and experts, will examine these complaints,"said RSSB President Alok Raj to the media. There is a separate quota of 2% for divorced women in all the jobs of the Rajasthan government. It's cutoff remains much lower than the other categories. Now there are complaints regarding misuse of this quota by taking divorce just in papers.
The board president said that the details of all joinings under this category will be obtained and an intensive probe will be launched.
Cases of getting jobs through fake degrees and diplomas have already come to light. Recently, 24 government employees were found guilty of using false disability certificates to get government jobs under the disability quota, while the investigation of more such cases is going on.
