New Delhi Exit Poll Results 2025: Arvind Kejriwal May Lose To BJP's Parvesh Verma With 1,500-3,500 Votes, Predicts JVC Exit Poll
The New Delhi Assembly constituency is the most closely watched, as former Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal is contesting against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Parvesh Verma from this seat.

New Delhi, February 5: The voting for the Delhi Assembly Elections 2025, which commenced on Wednesday morning, has concluded, and the people are eagerly awaiting the exit poll results. The New Delhi Assembly constituency is the most closely watched, as former Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal is contesting against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Parvesh Verma from this seat.
There is no predictions by the pollsters about the constituency-wise results in the Delhi Assembly Elections 2025, however, it is being claimed that close contest is expected between the AAP National Convenor and BJP candidate from the New Delhi Assembly constituency Parvesh Verma. JVC Exit Poll has claimed that Arvind Kejriwal is losing from the seat to BJP's Parvesh Verma. He is expected to lose the elections with a margin of around 20,000 votes. However, the final picture will be clear only on Saturday, February 8 when the Election Commission will announce the final results.
The exit poll results have predicted a clear majority for the BJP in the national capital with AAP lagging behind. However, the satta bazar have predicted that the Aam Aadmi Party will form the government in Delhi.
New Delhi Assembly constituency has a long history of producing chief ministers in the national capital. Arvind Kejriwal defeated Sheila Dikshit, who was the chief minister of Delhi, in 2013 and became the chief minister of the national capital. Arvind Kejriwal has been winning on this seat for the past three terms and he is contesting from this seat for the fourth term. Congress has fielded Sandeep Dikshit, son of former CM Sheila Dikshit, from the New Delhi Assembly constituency.
Elections were held on all the 70 seats in the Delhi Assembly Elections 2025 in single phase on February 5 and the results will be announced on Saturday (February 8). The elections is a three way contest as AAP, BJP and Congress are wresting each other to form their government in Delhi.
Arvind Kejriwal has been in the controversy for his alleged involvement in the liquor scam for which he was jailed. Kejriwal is out on bail and it will be crucial for him to win the elections for the fourth consecutive time in the national capital.
