A woman working as an engineering assistant in the Sarabhavaram Secretariat was abducted by a group of five men in Andhra Pradesh's Alluri Sitharama Raju district. According to Telugu news portal Sakshi, the woman, identified as Soumya, was abducted at knifepoint.
The kidnappers abducted the woman at knifepoint in a filmy style. According to reports, all five kidnappers had covered their faces to conceal their identities. The incident, which took place in broad daylight, has created a stir in the area.
