Hyderabad University Placement 2024-25: Rs 46 Lakh Top Offer, 550 Students Placed
The University of Hyderabad recorded its highest-ever placement offer of ₹46 lakh per annum for the 2024–25 season, secured by an MTech student. A total of 550 students were placed across 180 organisations, including TCS, Deloitte, and Oracle. Recruitments spanned diverse sectors such as IT, finance, education, and research.

Hyderabad University Placement 2024-25: The University of Hyderabad (UoH) concluded its placement season for the academic year 2024-25 with a big step up in students' placement. The top offer stood at a whopping Rs 46 lakh per annum, a considerable increase from the previous year's top offer of Rs 17.89 LPA.
The hiring spread across a large number of industries, such as information technology, analytics, finance, consulting, education, and research. This is an indicator of the interdisciplinary educational framework of the university and industry-focused training.
Top Offer Secured by MTech Graduate
The highest paying offer was bagged by an MTech student from the School of Computer and Information Sciences, highlighting the high demand for tech skills from UoH.

A total of 550 students were placed in 180 prestigious organisations across both public and private sectors, as per media reports. The campus recruitment drive had top companies like Tata Consultancy Services, Deloitte, Oracle, Teradata, Intel, Pegasystems, Exim Bank, Novartis, Accenture, Micron, and General Electric.
Moreover, social and educational sector organisations like Sri Prakash Institute, Aakash Institute, and the Azim Premji Foundation were also among the recruiters, indicating the varied career aspirations of UoH graduates.
Placement Process and Support
The Placement Guidance Advisory Bureau (PGAB), led by its chairman, played a key role in enhancing industry engagement through alumni networks and outreach initiatives. The placement itself was executed largely on digital platforms such as Zoom and Google Meet to provide flexibility and access despite logistical difficulties.
Training and coordination of placements also included upscaling programs and constant drives to maximise placement possibilities for all students.
