Indore (Madhya Pradesh): "Chacha vidhayak hain humare," a nephew of BJP MLA replied when a staff member asked to pay him toll tax on Dewas–Bhopal highway. Next, the video showed accused Nikhil Chaudhary-- nephew of BJP’s Hatpipliya MLA Manoj Chaudhary, and friends allegedly hitting the toll plaza staff with hockey bats.

The incident was captured in a video and has been doing rounds on social media since Monday morning. 

According to information, the incident happened on the Dewas–Bhopal highway under Bhorasa police station limits. The accused was identified as Nikhil Chaudhary, the nephew of BJP’s Hatpipliya MLA Manoj Chaudhary.

He is the son of farmer leader Balram Chaudhary, elder brother of MLA Manoj Chaudhary,. What's further shocking is he himslef works as an MBBS doctor at a private hospital in Indore.

Ruckus at toll plaza leaves staff injured and commuters in traffic

In the video, Nikhil can be seen creating a ruckus at the toll plaza. He also picked the traffic cones and threw them at the barricades. 

Eyewitnesses said it all started when toll staff asked Nikhil to pay the fee. In anger, he got out of his vehicle and said, “All vehicles will pass free in the MLA’s name.” He then demanded to know who dared to ask him for money.

Toll workers allege he created a scene for nearly an hour. Staff members said the manager even delayed filing the complaint due to political pressure, as Nikhil comes from an influential family. 

Later, a complaint was filed by toll manager Raghavendra Singh, and police registered a case for abuse and threats.
