Tragic! Man Drowns While Saving Wife In Madhya Pradesh's Satna District; Had Lost Son Recently

Satna (Madhya Pradesh): A tragic case of drowning was reported from Madhya Pradesh’s Satna district where a 32-year-old man lost his life while trying to save his wife from drowning.

The incident took place on Sunday near Parsamaniya outpost under Uchehra police station.

Family had lost son recently 

According to information, the deceased was identified as Raj Bahadur Singh, son of Kishore Singh Gond and a resident of Parsamaniya. 

He had gone to a nearby pond to bathe with his family. The family had recently lost a child, and they were at the pond following local customs.

While bathing, Raj Bahadur’s wife Anju accidentally slipped into the deep water.

Without wasting a moment, Raj Bahadur jumped into the pond and managed to rescue her after a lot of effort. However, he himself got trapped in the deeper part of the pond and couldn’t swim out and unfortunately, he drowned.

Case registered

By the time the villagers and family members could react, it was too late. Raj Bahadur was rushed to Uchehra Community Health Center, where doctors declared him dead.

The entire village and the family are in deep shock. 

Police have registered a case and started an investigation into the matter.
