Madhya Pradesh: Doctor Held For Molesting Woman During Check-Up In Gwalior, Touched Inappropriately Under The Guise Of Using A Stethoscope | FPJ
Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): A 30-year-old woman was allegedly molested by a doctor under the pretext of a medical examination in Gwalior’s Nitin Nagar area.
The accused, Dr Ramashankar Sharma, was arrested after the victim filed a complaint at the Thatipur police station.
The woman, a resident of Hurawali, had been undergoing treatment for fever and headaches at Sharma’s clinic. On Tuesday evening, she visited the clinic with her brother-in-law. After prescribing medicine, the doctor sent her brother-in-law to a medical store and then called her inside to check her blood pressure.
Touched her under the guise of using a stethoscope
The woman alleged that he inappropriately touched her under the guise of using a stethoscope. When she protested, he dismissed her concerns as part of the examination. After returning home, she informed her husband, who immediately took her to the police.
