Bhopal: Youth’s Body Found In Upper Lake

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Body of youth was found at Upper Lake close to VIP Road on Friday morning. Koh-e-Fiza police reached the spot and sent the body to the mortuary where it was later identified as that of Shashank Khalko (21).

Police said that Sushant belonged to Satna district and used to study in a college in Bhopal. He was living on rent in Parwalia area. Sushant was missing for some days and his friends have reported his disappearance to the police.

Primary investigations indicate that the youth jumped into the water and committed suicide. Further investigations will be carried out after recording statements of his kin, police added.

Absconding criminal nabbed

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Cops at Tila Jamalpura police on Thursday night arrested a notorious criminal Arshad Babba who was evading arrest since long and was running a gambling den.

The accused is being questioned further, police said. ACP Ajay Vajpai said police team received a tip off about a gambling den being run by Arshad Babba near a drain at Congress Nagar.

Police team raided the spot and nabbed Babba (36) while the gamblers fled taking advantage of the dark. Babba was absconding in a case of crime against a woman registered at Tila Jamalpura police station in another case at Hanumanganj police station in which a warrant was issued by the court.
