Sehore (Madhya Pradesh): A 19-year-old student of Government women's college in Sehore, was found hanging in her hostel room on Thursday late at night. Police have confirmed that no suicide note was found from the spot.
The deceased identified as Raksha Nayak, a resident of Bhagwatpura. She was a 1st year undergraduate student in a women's college in Sehore.
According to the college, the incident took place at 10 pm in room number 17 of the hostel. The hostel warden claimed that the deceased received a phone call late at night from a person identifying himself as Raksha’s brother, asking to speak with her.

When Raksha's hostel mate went in to check on Raksha she was found hanging in the room. Another student helped to take down Raksha's body and a faculty ember rushed her to the nearest hospital, where she was declared dead.
According to the college officials the deceased had a love affair with someone, the cops have not verified this. At the time of the incident, Raksha's roommate was away at her hometown attending a wedding.
Family accuses college for negligence and defamation
On Friday morning, things intensified when the family reached the Collectorate with the girl's body in a car. Family accused the college management of defaming daughter and demanded action against them.
Raksha's father Jasmat Nayak alleges that the college management did not inform about the death on time, He accused it is the college's negligence and said the college is hampering her image by creating false speculations on her personal life.

SDM assured the family of investigation
Kotwali TI Ravindra Yadav said that the investigation of the case has been initiated and every evidence will be thoroughly examined!
As the investigation unfolds, SDM Tanmay Verma met the family and has assured of an administrative investigation on the college's involvement and the reason behind the girl's move.
