Bhopal: Man Held For Attempting To Rape Relative’s Minor Daughter

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A man attempted to rape eight-year-old daughter of his relative in a village under Berasia police station on Saturday night. An FIR has been registered against the accused and he has been arrested, police said.

According to reports, the minor girl was playing near her home when the accused lured her to a nearby forest area.

The girl raised an alarm when the man tried to force himself upon her. Villagers rushed to the spot forcing the accused to leave the girl and flee. The girl’s mother approached police and registered an FIR against her relative. Police officials said that the accused who was hiding in the forest was arrested on Sunday morning.

Man, son going in search of work killed in accident

A man and his son were killed after a truck hit their motorcycle on a highway in Morena district on Sunday, police said. The accident occurred on National Highway-44 under Bamnor police station limit in the morning, an official said.

The father and son were on way to Morena for labour work when a truck hit their vehicle, killing them on the spot, police official said. The truck driver fled the scene, leaving the vehicle behind.

The family members raised ruckus and tried to stage road block. The police assured the family members of taking appropriate action against the drive.
