Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Laying stress on better policing, women safety and bringing down the crime graph, DGP Kailash Makwana on Tuesday chaired a review meeting with top police officials of Bhopal, Rajgarh, Vidisha and Sehore.

The meeting held at the office of police commissioner, it was attended by police commissioner Harinarayanachari Mishra, IG Bhopal (rural) Abhay Singh, DCPs and other senior police officials.

The DGP reviewed the district and zone-wise crime incidents, pending cases of the past years and disposal of cases received from CM Helpline. The DGP stressed on quality disposal of complaints and pending cases of crimes while instructing the subordinates to prioritise women safety, coordination with common people for better community policing.

Directing officials to remain alert in view of the upcoming festivals, the DGP gave necessary instructions for maintenance of law and order, peace and security arrangements and bringing down the crime graph.

The DGP reviewed the records and actions taken against organised criminal activities.

The DGP reviewed the cases of jobs on compassionate grounds and pension related cases. He also discussed and reviewed lack of resources and manpower in the department and challenges of cyber crimes.
