London's iconic Serpentine Gallery Summer Party witnessed a fashion takeover this year by none other than Bollywood's very own couture queen, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja. On June 24, 2025, in the lush surroundings of Kensington Gardens, the actress brought her A-game with not one but two exquisite looks, each styled by her sister and go-to stylist, Rhea Kapoor. Keep reading as we decode her show-stopping ensembles at the London gala.
Sonam in Dior's Kyoto-Inspired Kimono look
For the main event, Sonam opted for a custom kimono-style jacket from Dior's Fall 2025 collection, which originally debuted in Kyoto. Designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri, the ensemble beautifully merged French haute couture precision with the traditional silhouettes and craftsmanship of Japanese kimono tailoring.
The jacket featured soft floral embroidery, wide sleeves, and a structured obi-style belt. Sonam accessorised the look with minimalist jewellery by Jessica McCormack and rounded off the outfit with tough leather boots.
Her makeup glam was just as refined with smudged smoky eyes, blushed cheeks, and a nude lip, while her hair was styled in a middle-parted hairdo left open for movement.
Sonam's after-party style in bold leather by Sarah Burton
For the after-hours celebration, Sonam stepped out in Sarah Burton’s debut collection for Givenchy, donning an oversized butter-yellow leather blazer dress with a plunging neckline and sharply tailored full sleeves.
She layered it over a sleek black bralette and amped up the drama with a sculptural black leather neck wrap. True to her styling instincts, Sonam skipped accessories, letting the striking textures and dramatic silhouettes do the talking.
Her makeup stayed consistent with a clean base, smokey eyes, sculpted cheeks and nude lips. Lastly, her glam was wrapped with a sleek, no-nonsense bun hairdo.
