Tesla CEO Elon Musk has deleted his X post, in which he dropped a bombshell, alleging that US President Donald Trump was named in files pertaining to the case of late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The Space X founder claimed the files pertaining to the case were never made public since Trump's name was there.
“Time to drop the really big bomb:@realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!” Musk's now-deleted post on X read.
The move comes amid the ongoing feud between Trump and Musk, which began with Musk criticising Trump's ‘Big Beautiful’ spending bill. Trump left the US administration last month, citing that he wants to focus more on his business, which suffered while he spearheaded the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
The row escalated when Trump said that he was ‘disappointed’ with Musk and both traded barbs. Trump said on Friday said that he was "particularly not interested" in speaking to Musk and that the world's richest man has "lost his mind".
