In the era where bizarre food experiments go viral, the stranger a food combination is, the faster it grabs eyeballs. From ice cream vada pav to cold drink-infused Maggi, these unusual pairings often spark a mix of curiosity and disapproval online. Now, another such dish has entered the arena, Yoghurt Coffee. and it’s as questionable as it sounds.
It’s often said that curd and milk shouldn’t be consumed together due to digestion and health reasons, with experts advising a gap between the two. But this drink throws that caution aside, blending both into one challenging sip.
The bizarre preparation was recently tasted and tested by Calvin Lee, a Singaporean influencer known for trying offbeat food recipes.

In a recent clip that quickly gained traction, Lee is seen mixing Greek-style yoghurt into a glass of iced black coffee. What initially looks like an easy chilled beverage takes a sharp turn the moment he drinks it. His face contorts into a dramatic wince as he reacts to the first sip.
“It looks like a regular iced latte,” he says in the video, “but it’s bitter and sour in a really unpleasant way”, he adds.
Labelling it a “don’t try”, Lee notes that even with his reputation for trying strange combos, this one was a hard pass.
Interestingly, the idea wasn’t his own.
“I shared about different ways to drink coffee on the radio (UFM100.3) the other day, and someone commented ‘yoghurt with coffee’ on Facebook Live,” he explained. “So I decided to give it a try. Never again lol", Lee wrote on Instagram.
While Lee’s food experiments usually end with at least an “okay” rating, this time, the verdict was a resounding no. Still, the internet thrives on bizarre challenges and gross-out dares — so don’t be surprised if this drink ends up on more “Things I Regret Trying” lists.
