A viral video has taken the Internet by storm in which a chinese father-son duo can be seen in violent confrontation on the street outside their home. The video says that the father started hitting son for failing in his exams. The father can be seen holding a belt in his hand and running behind his son. The young student is also holding a stick in his hands and defending father's attack. Netizens have slammed this incident and as the video goes viral on the Internet, it has raised parenting concerns.
Confrontation Turns Into Violent Fight
The video starts with a young son approaching his dad but the dad turned him away with a belt in his hand. Father can be seen throwing his school bag on the pavement of the street and runs behind his son to beat him. After a continuous chase around the block they face each other in the middle of the road. The father starts swinging the belt in his hands to hit his son, while son goes on to defend himself with the stick.
At one point, the agitated son also starts hitting his father with the stick. At the end, someone from behind grabs the son and father continued to hit him with the belt.
