A vehicle carrying officials from the Chinese embassy fell into a drain in Nepal's Kathmandu area. The incident took place on Sunday at 10 AM. The entire incident was captured by the bystanders. The car fell off the road into a stream in Kageshwari Manohara Municipality-6 near Mulpani Cricket Ground in Kathmandu. Reportedly, there were two passengers travelling in the car; they were rescued by the locals, as seen in the video.
The viral video, which was shared widely across social media, shows that the car is stranded in the drain while the passenger traveling in it is trying to get out of it. Locals and police can be seen assisting them in the rescue.

In the report shared by @24ghantanepal on Instagram, more details came to light. The caption of the video reads, "The car, bearing diplomatic plate 11 CD 619, had two Chinese nationals onboard — a 34-year-old mother and her daughter — who sustained minor injuries. Locals and police assisted in their rescue. It remains unclear whether the two are embassy staff. After medical treatment at a nearby hospital, both have returned. The vehicle was retrieved and handed over to the driver."
