A fight escalated between animal activists and lawyers outside the Supreme Court on Tuesday, August 11, over the relocation order of stray dogs by the SC. Dog lovers and animal activists are outraged since the order came after the Supreme Court order to relocate all stray dogs from Delhi-NCR residential areas to shelters within eight weeks to control rising rabies cases. On August 11, when the hearing on this matter was going on in the Supreme Court, there was a clash between the dog lovers standing outside and the lawyers present there.

The clash turned into physical assaults quickly. Bystanders captured the incident on their camera, and a video is now surfacing on social media. In the viral clip, a lawyer and some people can be seen fighting with each other by grabbing each other's collars.
However, the people present at the scene tried to intervene. On the other hand, the dog lovers standing outside the Supreme Court were also seen shouting and abusing the lawyers.

Reportedly, the fight erupted during the discussions between animal activists and lawyers. A verbal dispute soon turned into a violent fight.
Protest Against SC's Decision At India Gate
A huge number of animal activists and dog lovers gathered to protest against the Supreme Court's decision to relocate the stray dogs. Animal welfare and care services (AWC) posted on X, "We are the voters and we want to practice our constitutional right. The Indian Constitution, particularly Article 51A(g), mandates citizens to protect and improve the environment, including wildlife, and to have compassion for all living creatures."
Woman Animal Rights Activist Brutally Beaten By Police
A shocking video surfaced on social media in which it can be seen that a female Delhi Police personnel is beating a woman animal rights activist inside a bus. The incident was filmed by an onlooker. It can be seen in the video that the police have detained a few female protesters inside the bus and an argument erupted between them, after which the police officer started hitting the woman with slaps.
