A wedding celebration in Hamidpur village of Chandauli district in Uttar Pradesh took a violent turn on Saturday night when a minibus driver, angry over not being served enough paneer, crashed his vehicle into the wedding mandap, injuring six people.
The accused, identified as Dharmendra Yadav alias "Bamboo," had ferried the wedding guests (baratis) to the venue earlier. He was denied when he asked for more paneer at the wedding food counter.
According to witnesses, Yadav became agitated after the hosts refused to serve him the quantity of paneer he demanded during the wedding feast. He took revenge.

All six people were rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
The two close relatives were reportedly admitted to the trauma centre of BHU.
