According to reports, the groom was identified as Vivek Kumar, a person who was well-versed in Vedic chants required to perform the sacred rituals at his wedding. It was reported that Kumar is currently pursuing a course at Gurukul Kangri University.

The footage showed the groom reciting mantras and carrying out his own wedding. Dressed up in bridal wear, he was seated next to his bride and pronouncing the holy chants on a microphone. He not only performed the rituals as a groom but also guided himself and his lady love while adopting the role of a pandit.
