Mahoba (Uttar Pradesh), June 26: In a shocking incident, a married woman fell in love with a man she met while playing the online game PUBG in Uttar Pradesh's Mahoba. Their love story is similar to Seema Haider and Sachin Meena's love story, however, no borders were crossed this time. Both the lovers are from India itself. However, the man travelled around 1,000 Kms to meet the woman he fell in love with while playing the online game with her.

There are reports that the man belonged to Punjab's Ludhiana from where he travelled to Uttar Pradesh's Mahoba to meet the woman at her in-laws' house. The surprise visit of the lover came as a shock for her husband and his family. This created a chaos as the woman started insisting the she wants leave her husband and child to live with her online lover.

There are also reports that the woman threatened her husband of killing him. She said that if he came between her and her lover, she would cut him into 55 tukde (pieces) and put him in a drum, just like the Meerut murder case.

The Beginning: Love Through PUBG

The woman has been identified as Aradhana from Banda district in Uttar Pradesh married to Sheelu from Mahoba in 2022. They also have a one-and-a-half year old son. Aradhana got addicted to PUBG after few months of their marriage and met Shivam in the game. Shivam belonged to Ludhiana in Punjab and over time, their gaming friendship turned into love.

Shivam said that he met Aradhana around 14 months ago while playing PUBG. Recently, she told him that her husband had beaten her over the phone. On hearing this, Shivam came to Mahoba to see her. When he arrived at her house, a fight broke between him and her husband Sheelu. Sheelu called the police after which Shivam was taken into custody.

A high-voltage drama occurred at Tehsil office after the police took Shovan to the SDM (Sub-Divisional Magistrate) Court. Aradhana followed them to the Sadar Tehsil and demanded that the she wants to go with her lover. She also claimed that her husband is an alcohol addict and accused him of domestic violence.

An argument broke out between the husband, wife and her lover in front of the crowd. The woman said that the she now wants to live with her lover and that she wants love not a husband.

Police Action

There are reports that police booked Shivam under Section 151 of the Criminal Procedure Code (for disturbing public peace) and presented him before the magistrate. Further investigation is underway.
