A video is going viral of a Japanese creator who is asking is 'India is really worth staying in?' His question emerges from a common stereotype he is witnessing from all the NRIs he encounters in his Asia journey. The vlogger claims that NRIs tell him the same reasons for leaving India and blames the system for their departure.
Is India Worth Living in?
The vlogger shares in his reel, that all the NRIs he met during his travel told him that they left India for good. In his reel he says, "NRIs say, Taxes are high, roads are broken, Politicians are rich. And the return we get? Nothing."
Further he shared that one NRI claimed of paying 30% tax and still get power cut and dirty water in return, then why should he stay in the country. The vlogger adds, "Another NRI said, India is not for dreamers, it's for survivors. Is this how India's youth really feels?"
WATCH VIDEO:
The vlogger captioned the video, "I met so many amazing Indians while traveling abroad. But almost all of them said the same thing: India is too hard to live in. We dream big, but the system holds us back."
At the end of the video the vlogger said, "I love India, I love Indian people. But is this the reality for many of you? Do you believe India has no future? Is India worth staying in?"
Netizens Reactions:
Internet has divided opinions on the question as some are defending the worth of staying in the country while some are simply agreeing to the harsh truth. One user wrote, "Yes I think same !! Zero civic sense in public, Not safe for women …." Another wrote, "Every country has good and bad, but in India, the bad outweighs the good." One commented, "Correct. India has no future. All politicians have destroyed socio economic structure and fabric of society. Failed democracy"

In defence one wrote, "I don't know which indians are those. In Germany, many are going back to India. Sure, I have my issues with my country but there are also a lot of positives."
