With cricket fans on the edge of their seats ahead of the IPL 2025 final between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Punjab Kings, influencer Ayush Bhandari decided to skip expert panels and stat sheets — and went straight to the stars for answers. Literally.
In a quirky, light-hearted video filmed at a mall in Dehradun, Bhandari approached an astrologer seated beside an escalator and asked him the ultimate question: Who will win the IPL final this year? What followed was a mix of astrology, heartbreak, humour — and a desperate prayer for Virat Kohli’s victory.

Who wins IPL 2025? Astrologer prediction
“RCB haaregi (RCB will lose)", the astrologer said.
Visibly shaken by the declaration, Ayush sought clarity — was it Virat Kohli’s performance that would decide the game? Would Kohli score fewer runs, dragging his team down with him?
"Unka thoda palla kamzor hai. Out hone ke jyada chances hai unke. Punjab hi jeetegi (RCB's side is a bit weaker. They have a higher chance of getting out. Punjab will win)", he predicted.

"RCB is saal nahi haarni chahiye..."
But before getting deeper into cricketing destiny, the mood lightened with another prediction when the content creator asked the astrologer about his personal life. The question? Whether he would find love and get a girlfriend. The answer? Another no.
Ayush wasn't disappointed with his love life prediction, but he really wanted RCB to win this watch.
“Girlfriend nahi aayegi chalega, but RCB is saal nahi haarni chahiye (It’s okay if I don’t get a girlfriend, but RCB should not lose this year)", he said.
Visiting Shani temple
The video ended with Ayush making a visit to a nearby Shani temple, offering prayers for Virat Kohli and the entire RCB squad — hoping to change the stars, if not his own, then at least his team's.
Video goes viral on Instagram
Whether the astrologer's predictions will come true or not, the video has surely caught the internet's attention.
Uploaded on Instagram on June 2, a day before the IPL 2025 final match between RCB and PBKS, the clip has already received 3.2 million views and nearly two lakh likes.
