A spine-chilling scene unfolded in Uttar Pradesh’s Shahjahanpur when a resident stumbled upon at least 100 snakes hiding in his house.
Shravan Kumar, a resident of Mudiya Kala village in Jalalabad, was cleaning his home when he noticed a drum tucked away in a corner. As he attempted to lift it, he screamed in horror as he spotted a snake slithering out. But what he thought was a single reptile quickly turned into something even more scary. Upon fully removing the drum, Kumar was left horrified — nearly 100 snakes were coiled and tangled there.
Scared, he immediately called villagers for help. Within minutes, people gathered at his house, including a sarp mitra who rescued the reptiles and later released them in a nearby forest.

A video capturing the snakes coiled up in what appeared like a wide plastic container has begun circulating online. The clip shows these creatures writhing inside the container.
According to local reports, these snakes were believed to be venomous. Villagers claimed that the species appeared unfamiliar, even suggesting they may belong to an old or rare breed — though no official confirmation has been provided yet.
While such sightings aren't uncommon in rural India, the sheer number of snakes discovered in a single household is quite shocking.
