Ahmedabad (Gujarat), July 21: In a dramatic incident, a girl wearing a black skirt tried to sneak out of the Sanand Police Station after being caught in a raid at a late-night party in Gujarat's Ahmedabad. The video of the young woman trying to escape from the police station has hit the internet and is doing rounds on social media. It can be seen in the video that the woman silently trying to escape from the police station, however, the alert cops spot her and send her back inside the police station.
The video of the incident has been shared on social media X account "@JournoJayesh". The journalist shared the video and said, "Liquor party busted at a private resort in Sanand, Ahmedabad; it was the birthday party of Pratik Sanghi, associated with real estate 80 people detained, of which 13 men and 26 women were found intoxicated Where did all this nectar come from???"
The incident occurred after a high-profile birthday party was reportedly busted at Glade One Golf Club and Resort in Sanand on Sunday (July 20) night. As per reports from Gujarat Samachar, the party was organised by Pratik Sanghi who is allegedly linked to the real estate sector.
Acting on a tip-off, police teams from Sanand, Changodar and Bopal stations, along with two independent witnesses, raided the venue. Around 70–80 guests were present on the location at the time of the raid.
There are reports that around 39 people, including 13 men and 26 men were detained after they were found intoxicated. The police conducted the breath analyser tests and sent all the 30 individuals for medical examination and blood sampling.
The video shows that the accused were brought to the Sanand Police Station after the raid. The young woman was seen standing near the gate of the police station and the other accused are seen entering the police station in a queue. The woman then slowly and swiftly moved on the other side and tried to escape from the police station, while crossing the bikes parked in the premises.
The woman's attempt to escape was foiled by the alert cops present outside the police station. The video shows that the cop asks the woman to go inside the police station, after which she is seen walking straight inside the police station.
There are reports that the police seized items worth over Rs 90,000 in the raid, including liquor bottles, hookah pipes and cigarettes. A case has been registered as Gujarat is a dry state and the police have initiated and inquiry into the matter. Further legal action is being taken into the matter.
