Scottish content creator Hugh Abroad is currently travelling across India and indulging in the country’s rich culinary culture one bite at a time. In an Instagram reel, he captured himself tasting a beloved Indian dessert for the very first time, "Gulab jamun".
The video shows Hugh going to a local sweet shop, excitedly asking for two pieces of gulab jamun. Moments later, he takes his first bite, and his reaction says it all.
“That is absolute heaven,” he says, clearly amazed.
“These are like really soft pieces of dough and they just melt in your mouth. Wow, this sugary syrup is so, so tasty. I could drink that all day — so sweet but absolutely delicious", the foreigner adds with absolute love for the dish.
He even attempts a guess at the ingredients — “I think it is made from flour and some milk” before giving it a solid 10/10 rating.
