We’ve seen some wild food combinations on the internet like noodles with coke, pizza with pineapple, but nothing prepared netizens for this. A new viral video by Singaporean foodie added a questionable twist to everyone’s comfort food: Maggi.
In the now-viral clip, Calvin Lee, known for his experimental palate, cooked up a bowl of Maggi noodles and casually asked to wait for what's to come — a giant spoonful of peanut butter and a generous drop of jelly.
Yes, you read that right. Peanut butter and jelly in hot, soupy Maggi.
The video begins with a bowl of freshly cooked noodles. But within seconds, Lee pulls out a large spoon of peanut butter, followed by some jelly, leaving viewers visibly disturbed. The reaction online was quick and filled with disgust.

Just when it seemed viewers might click away in disbelief, Lee confidently declared, "I've got a very good feeling about this." He took a bite—no hesitation—and gave it a thumbs up.
According to Lee, the nutty richness of the peanut butter gave the noodles a deeper flavor, while the jelly added just the right touch of sweetness. His verdict? “Satisfying and worth trying.”

But the internet wasn’t convinced. Comments flooded in, from “You are weird and not funny” to full-blown memes mocking the dish. People also screamed, “Nooooooooooooooooooooooo", disapproving Lee's bizarre recipe.
Still, the video has racked up thousands of views since it was posted in early May.
