Haridwar: A group of youths performing dangerous stunts on a moving car in Haridwar's BHEL area have landed in serious trouble after their antics were caught on camera and widely circulated online.
The viral video, which showed the youngsters hanging out of the car windows and violating traffic norms, prompted swift action from the local police.

Car Seized, Youths Booked For Reckless Driving
After the video went viral, Ranipur Kotwali police tracked down the vehicle and seized it. The stunt, which took place on public roads in the BHEL locality, showed the youths swinging dangerously out of the moving car in blatant disregard for traffic laws.
According to a report by NDTV India, SP City Pankaj Gairola confirmed that the action was taken under the drink and drive rule, adding that the errant youths had been penalised and strictly warned. “The youth have been taught traffic rules and strictly warned not to repeat such acts in future,” Gairola said.
Police to Conduct Awareness Drives In School
Haridwar Police have sent a strong message that reckless behaviour on the roads will not be tolerated under any circumstances. SP Gairola emphasised that awareness drives are regularly conducted in schools to educate students about road safety.
He also said that checking drives are being carried out continuously under the Haridwar Police’s supervision, and several violators have already faced strict penalties. “The clear message of Haridwar Police is that no stunts will be allowed on the roads, only rules will be respected,” he said, as quoted by NDTV India.
