Vivo has confirmed the launch of its new smartphone, the Vivo T4R 5G, in India on July 31. The device will be available for purchase via Flipkart, Vivo's official website, and select offline retail partners. The launch of the new smartphone comes just on the heels of the Vivo X Fold 5 and Vivo X200 FE launch.
The company is teasing the arrival of the new Vivo T4R 5G on a dedicated Flipkart page. The phone is seen to have a dual rear camera setup inside a circular metal ring. There is a hole-punch display up front, minimal bezels up front, and the Vivo logo at the back. The phone has a metal frame and volume/ power rockers on the side. The launch will be held on July 31 at 12 noon IST.

As for price, the company has confirmed that the Vivo T4R 5G smartphone will be priced under Rs. 20,000. Exact pricing, launch offer, and availability details will be mentioned at launch.

As for specifications, Vivo has confirmed that the T4R is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 5G octa-core chipset based on 4nm process technology and 2.6GHz clock speed. The phone claims to get a score of 750K+ on AnTuTu benchmarks. It is said to be an AI-driven phone and is expeted to feature a host of AI editing options.
Other confirmed specifications include 120Hz refresh rate, up to 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage. The phone is listed to be 7.39m thick and run on Android 15-based FunTouch OS. The Vivo T4R 5G carries an IP68 and IP69 rating for water and dust resistance.
Rumoured specifications include a 6.77-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary rear camera sensor, which supports optical image stabilization (OIS) and 4K video recording. It is accompanied by a 2-megapixel bokeh sensor. For front-facing imaging, it includes a 32-megapixel selfie camera with additional AI features.
The phone is tipped to be backed by a 5,700mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging via USB Type-C. Additional specifications include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, stereo speakers, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
