Reliance Jio has announced the launch of JioPC, a cloud-powered virtual desktop solution across India. Marketed as the country’s first AI-ready cloud computer, JioPC comes with a subscription-based, pay-as-you-go model with plans starting from just Rs. 599 per month. It claims to offer users the full functionality of a PC without requiring any expensive hardware.
In its official note, Reliance claims that JioPC delivers the performance of a traditional desktop system valued at Rs. 50,000 or more but eliminates the need for upfront investment, maintenance, or hardware upgrades. Users only need a Jio Set-Top Box, a keyboard, a mouse, and a screen (TV or monitor) to access the JioPC platform. The device, Jio claims, offers instant boot-up, and is protected with network-level security against viruses and malware.

The company says that the new JioPC service is designed to cater to students, professionals, small businesses, and households. JioPC works using cloud infrastructure and AI-based tools. A major highlight of the launch is JioPC’s partnership with Adobe, giving subscribers free access to Adobe Express.
In addition, JioPC also offers access to 512 GB of cloud storage, Microsoft Office (browser version), and other popular applications, as part of the base subscription. The device supports flexible on-demand computing, with users able to scale up capabilities as required, without changing hardware.
Who can subscribe to JioPC?
JioPC is currently available to all existing and new JioFiber and Jio AirFiber users nationwide, with a one-month free trial for new subscribers.
JioPC plan prices in India
The JioPC base plan is priced at Rs. 599 plus GST. This plan includes one-month subscription, 8GB RAM, and 100GB storage. There are two-month, three-month, six-month, and annual plans also available, priced at Rs. 999, Rs. 1,499, Rs. 2,499, and Rs. 4,599 respectively.
How to setup JioPC on your JioFiber connection?
To set up, users can power on their Jio Set-Top Box, launch the JioPC app from the Apps section, plug in a keyboard and mouse, and log in using their registered contact number or by creating a new account.
