ELECRAMA, the much awaited showcase of the Indian Electrical Industry ecosystem is already happening. This is the largest standalone show in the electrical and allied equipment industry and also the largest T&D show.

During this show, Delta, a leading player in power management and a provider of IoT-based smart green solutions, announced the launch of its new D-Bot series Collaborative Robots (Cobots) in the Indian market. It also unveiled its new Industrial Power-protect Transformer-based UPS and 240kW DC Fast EV Charger. Here's an insider look what new the company showcased.

Unboxing D-Bot series Cobots

The latest D-Bot series includes 6-axis cobots. These boasts of payload capacities of up to 30 kg, and speeds as fast as 200 degrees per second. These are designed to empower industries with more efficient and smarter production processes. This includes packaging, electronics assembly, materials handling and welding, among others.

The main aim is to further strengthening its commitment to energy conservation and the development of sustainable cities across India. Here's a detailed look what the cobots has in for you:

D-Bot Series Cobots: These cobots detect contact and instantly reverse movement to prevent accidents. Thus, ensuring safe human-robot collaboration. The D-bot also provides precision, efficiency, and rapid deployment across industries. This covers a broad range of applications which require smart manufacturing capabilities. These includes the following:

Packaging

Pick and place

Electronics assembly

Materials handling

Welding

Machine tending

Moreover, these D-Bot series cobots can integrate seamlessly with Delta’s DIATwin digital twin platform, VTScada SCADA system and machine vision systems, among others. This will eventually help customers upgrade the reliability, productivity and efficiency of their factories.

Apart from the cobots, delta also introduced a IPT series and a EV charger. Given below are the details of the products:

240kW DC Fast EV Charger – This is a high-speed dual-vehicle charging solution. This advanced EV charger boasts OCPP compatibility, 95% efficiency and wired/4G GSM connectivity.

Industrial Power-protect Transformer-based UPS (IPT series)- It has advanced PFC converter. This also has IP43 optional enclosure protection. This ensures strong performance and optimizes front-end investment for harsh industrial environments.
