Mya dominates the Mountain West Conference
This past weekend, Mya clinched her fourth consecutive Mountain West Conference (MWC) outdoor shot put gold, delivering a stunning throw of 18.61 meters. The victory took place at the 2025 Mountain West Outdoor Track & Field Championships and continues her streak of dominance in the sport.
In that same event, Mya launched a throw of 19.60 meters (64 feet, 3.5 inches), which catapulted her into the top three women's shot put performances in NCAA history. The throw also smashed previous school and conference records, positioning her as the top-ranked female shot put athlete heading into the 2025 NCAA Division I Outdoor Championships. Mya's rise has been nothing short of spectacular since joining Colorado State University.
