An intriguing moment occurred on Day 3 of the fifth and final Test against England at the Kia Oval Cricket Ground in London as Ravindra Jadeja expressed concerns with a fan, who was wearing a red t-shirt while sitting in the stands. The spectator was asked to move from that seat to prevent Jadeja from being distracted but he instead changed his t-shirt from red to grey, receiving a thumbs up from Jadeja.

Hundred from Yashasvi Jaiswal and fifties from Washington Sundar, Ravindra Jadeja and Akash Deep give India firm control

Meanwhile, the visiting side have a firm control on the proceedings after Day 3's play, leaving the Englishmen with a mountain to climb as they must chase down 374 for victory. India lost only one wicket in the opening session, that of Akash Deep, who belted 66 off 94 balls and helped India add 107 runs with Yashasvi Jaiswal.

Jaiswal was arguably the star of India's innings as the left-hander overcame his failure of the first innings to score 118 off 164 deliveries. Ravindra Jadeja hit another crucial half-century but it was Washington Sundar's onslaught that gave the Asian Giants the much-needed impetus. Sundar, 25, had smacked three sixes in the five balls he faced at one stage, taking England to the cleaners.

Ben Duckett and Zak Crawley had stitched a 50-run stand before Mohammed Siraj's yorker got the better of the latter for 14. The Englishmen need another 324 runs with nine wickets in the shed.
