Team India pacer Mohammed Siraj's teary-eyed expression surfaced during the press conference following the tourists' stunning victory over England at The Kia Oval Cricket Ground in London. The right-arm pacer's eyes turned moist as visiting captain Shubman Gill was answering a question asked by a reporter. A video of the same surfaced on social media.
The 31-year-old gave it all throughout the series and turned out to be the only Indian pacer to play all five Tests. he reaped the reward of all the hard work done on Day 5 as he spearheaded an incredible turnaround to help India clinch a six-run victory, thereby levelling the series.
While speaking to the presser, Gill had seemingly said about his learnings:
