The Suburban Premier Football League, currently underway at Borivali, Mumbai since 21st June, witnessed another action-packed day of football.
In the first match of the day, Holy Cross Sports Foundation outplayed Western Sports Foundation with a commanding 2-0 victory. Holy Cross registered 2 shots on target, converting both into goals, while Western couldn’t manage a single shot throughout the match.
The second encounter between Shelar Football Club and Poojary Football Club ended in a goalless draw. Neither team was able to create any attacking momentum, finishing the game without a single shot on goal.
Kaushik Football Association delivered a dominant performance in the third match, defeating Charkop Football Club 4-0. Kaushik made the most of their opportunities, converting all 4 of their shots on target, while Charkop failed to attempt any shots.
In match four, Nexus Youth Foundation showcased their attacking prowess by crushing Vibrants Football Club 5-0. Nexus made 5 shots on target and converted all of them, whereas Vibrants failed to make any offensive impact.
The final match of the day featured a high-scoring thriller, where Satya Vijaya Sports Club overwhelmed Shalom United with a 7-2 win. Both teams managed to convert all their shots on target, but Satya Vijaya's superior attacking force made the difference.
