Chairperson of Mahindra & Mahindra Anand Mahindra gifted para archer Sheetal Devi, who expressed her gratitude towards the business tycoon as she wrote a lengthy and touching post on her official account on X. With Anand Mahindra offering her a car of her choice, the 18-year-old revealed that Scorpio N became a unanimous one.

The teenage prodigy, who hails from Jammu & Kashmir, became the first female armless archer to win a gold medal internationally, achieving the feat during the Para Asian Games in 2023 hosted by Hangzhou, China. Sheetal bagged two gold medals in the individual and mixed team compound events and followed it up with a silver in the women's doubles competition.

During the Paris 2024 Paralympics, the youngster won bronze in the compound archery team event with Rakesh Kumar. Meanwhile, Sheetal acknowledged Anand Mahindra's gift and wrote:
"Overwhelmed with gratitude! When I was 16, I got a call from my family -@anandmahindra sir was gifting me a Mahindra car of my choice! I was offline during the Asian Para Games and thought it was a prank. But when I realized it was true, I was super excited!"
